The new online shopping destination that comes to your local Walmart or Best Buy this month will allow shoppers to find cheaper goods online and make their shopping experience even better.
Indian online shopping site Indiegogo has unveiled a new app called Indian Online Shopping that will let shoppers shop for Indian-manufactured goods online.
In an announcement Tuesday, Indian online shopping website Indiegogo said the app will be available to consumers in stores and online retailers across the U.S. starting this Friday.
The app is the first step in the creation of a marketplace that will allow consumers to find and shop for cheaper goods across multiple retail platforms.
India is the world’s largest market for consumer goods and online shopping has become a major growth area for the Indian online industry.
IndieGoGo, which is owned by Flipkart, launched in 2014 and has grown to more than 1 billion active monthly active users.
Its $1 billion crowdfunding campaign raised $1.7 billion in funding in December 2017.
Ahead of this month’s launch, Indiegogogo CEO Rahul Jain said that in 2018, Indegogo would add 3 million merchants to its platform.
“With our new platform, consumers will have a seamless shopping experience and our new India app will enable the most trusted Indian brands and brands to be on-demand and accessible to shoppers worldwide,” Jain told Fox News.
